Pistons GT Advances to Playoff Stage in “THE TIPOFF” Tournament

 

WHAT: Pistons Gaming Team (GT) advanced to the playoff stage of THE TIPOFF Tournament and will take on Jazz Gaming in a best-of-three matchup on Thursday, June 18 beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Pistons GT earned its spot in the playoffs by winning the tiebreaker for Group 1 after splitting its two-game series with both 76ers GC and NetsGC on June 16.

The eight remaining NBA 2K teams are now competing for the $160,000 prize pool. The winner of THE TIPOFF will earn nearly half of the prize pool, with the remainder awarded to the runner-up, third- and fourth-place finishers (first place – $70,000; second place – $50,000; third and fourth place – $20,000 each).
