Pistons GT Awarded Two Conditional Draft Picks

Pistons GT was awarded a pair of conditional draft picks today, selecting Brian “Killey” Diaz and Idris “idrisdagoat6” Richardson to be added to the active roster. Killey will be replacing the team’s recent fourth-round selection, Meason “Milo” Camille, until he is able to join the team from Australia. Idris will be temporarily filling in for Radiant, who is still waiting to arrive in market.

Killey, a New York native, nearly averaged a double-double during his rookie season for the Gen.G Tigers (9.6ppg-9.0rpg-2.9apg-1.3spg-1.5bpg), showing off positional versatility in the process.

Idris is a former NBA 2K League champion, winning the league’s first championship with Knicks Gaming in season one. Last year, the veteran forward averaged 9.6ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.5spg, and 1.4bpg for Bucks Gaming, helping Milwaukee earn a playoff berth.

Detroit enters tournament play with a much different look than their opponent’s expected. With Radiant unavailable, recent second-round selection, Greenlight, will likely fill the void at point guard. Although Radiant’s absence will hurt, Greenlight is more than prepared for the challenge, having spent the duration of pre-draft as a lead ball-handler. That experience will certainly come in hand, as he leads a suddenly new-look Pistons GT starting lineup.

The TIPOFF, powered by AT&T, begins May 19th and will be streamed live at twitch.tv/NBA2KLeague. Detroit is slated to square off with NetsGC and Kings Guard Gaming to open season four.
