For the second half of their week seven back-to-back, Pistons GT is scheduled to face Wizards District Gaming at 7:45 and 8:45 PM (est.) tonight. Washington is currently on a seven-game winning streak. For Pistons GT, the team is coming off of two wins against Bucks Gaming yesterday evening.
Winning at least one contest tonight guarantees a top-nine seed in the TURN for Pistons GT. With $260,000 on the line, earning a bye round and avoiding the play-in could end up being worth quite a lot of money.
They run into the hottest team in the league in Wizards District Gaming. Flawless in their last seven, Washington has defeated Warriors Gaming Squad (x1), NetsGC (x2), Raptors Uprising GC (x2), and Grizz Gaming (x2) during their streak. Sitting atop the Eastern Conference standings at 11-3 with a near double-digit per game point differential (9.5), WDG represents our toughest test to date.
Ramo vs. Dayfri
Tonight features a battle between two elite big men in Ramo and Dayfri. Ramo has recorded double-doubles in all but two contests (12 total) so far this season, including at least two combined blocks and/or steals in 12-out-of-14 games. He matches up with a fellow season one draftee, Dayfri.
Originally selected 29 spots after Ramo (34th overall), Dayfri has added a championship trophy, Finals MVP, and First-Team All NBA 2K League honors to his resume in the last year. Averaging 18.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game, Dayfri truly brings everything to the table at the center position.
