Warriors Win Thriller Against Pistons

Warriors Gaming Squad outlasted Pistons GT to pick up a 56-51 win that advances them into the quarterfinals of THE TURN.

For the majority of the contest, the Warriors were on top of their game and giving the Piston fits. If not for the contributions of Lets Get It Ramo for the Pistons in the first half, this game would have been a complete blowout. In the first half, he was the only player on the Pistons to put up more than four points, finishing tied for the game-high with 12 points in the half.

For all the prowess of the Warriors in the first half, however, it was the Pistons who came out the gate firing on all cylinders with six quick points to close the gap to just four points early in the third quarter. While Lets Get It Ramo was the one doing it all in the first half, it was JosephTheTruth that tallied all six of those opening points to get the Pistons into a groove.

That opening barrage was all that the Pistons needed to throw the Warriors off their own rhythm and make the game close down the stretch. This set up an incredibly close finish that saw both teams trading shots in the closing years of the fourth quarter. Both Lets Get It Ramo and Rux made some big three pointers for the Pistons, but it was a late turnover that ended up sealing the deal. With the PIstons turning it over with a chance to take the lead, Vert — finishing with 16 points and a whopping 17 boards — helped seal the deal and get the Warriors a big win to move on in THE TURN.

The Warriors will now move into the quarterfinals and take on either Cavs Legion GC or Knicks Gaming.
